So, I'm somebody's favorite. Yes, I'm Josh's favorite....that's just a given. (I'm his favorite EVERYTHING!) I'm also my dad's and I'm pretty sure my mom's favorite child. :) And I know for a fact, that I have a dozen or so neices and nephews that definately would call me their favorite aunt, not to mention a few sisters and at least one brother (maybe 2) that have whispered I'm their favorite sibling. I'll admit....a lot of people like me. ;) ;) And it's not easy being everyone's favorite. It's really hard! There's such pressure! And all the attention and extra love...I don't know how I do it, "day in and day out." And now, all these years that I've been married to Josh...well, let just say I've been "thisclose" to being pushed over the edge with favoritism. Don't get me wrong...I love Josh's family. (well, love is a pretty stong word for some of them :) They really are an awesome bunch. But what does a girl have to do? Again .... it's hard to admit, but I am "pretty sure" I'm Uncle Kim's favorite neice. (Josh's Uncle) Ever since day 1, I just had this feeling. And it was confirmed when I recieved my very own batch of his famous and delicious chocolate chip cookies for the first time. (I'm pretty sure no-one else get's their own batch but ME) It was even 'noted' that I didn't have to share. And I still remember the day when Josh and I were checking in at the airport, coming home from a visit with his family, and a uniformed officer walked over to us with a fresh batch of cookies. Uncle Kim made them but had a "time crunch" so sent another officer to deliver them to me before we flew home. Now if that isn't favoritism, I don't know what is! I think there have been very few visits to Tucson, where I haven't got a plate of chocolate chip cookies! (and I'm pretty sure it was because they were out of town!) I know, I know...I have it pretty hard. I just don't know what I'm going to do! And their visit here this weekend was no exception. They came over to visit and play games, and the next thing I know, he's mixing up a batch, just for me. I don't know....but I think I have quite a problem on my hands! I think I'm going to have to go figure this thing out....maybe while I nibble on a few chocolate chip cookies!

(We REALLY enjoyed seeing all of you: Kim, Judy, Dara & Jim....it was so much fun hanging out with you, painting, drinking "dirty water" and kicking your trash at Phase 10! Can't wait until we see you again! ;) .... we love you so much! )

So if I did always have this crafty side of me you definetely sparked it to where it is now a raging fire out of control :) Jim says he is just happy that I have a new hobby, but we'll see if he still feels that way when he looks at the bank statment :) I am glad that AZ was enjoyable. Jim is still in Cleveland this week for training, but I will email you some days that we can get together and hopefully we will see you soon!
