“In all of living, have much fun and laughter.
Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.”

Here and gone again...

Can you believe Christmas is really over? I am really having a hard time figuring out how that's possible! And I'm kind of sad about it. I always have regrets at the end of Christmas day; (besides gaining the 5lbs that have added themselves to my lower half this month! ); wishing I had done more, been more giving or thoughtful...and not so worried about if I got the kids enough, or what might be coming "my way". That I should have done a better job at bringing the Spirit of Christmas into my home and into my children's lives. Next year I'll do better.

And at the end of this Christmas day, all I really remember (besides getting woken up at 5am!)was the look on my kids faces in the morning, being with my family for my mom's annual brunch, playing games with everyone, laughing and growing closer. And the fact that my awesome husband was home to enjoy it all with me. I truly am grateful for this day and this time of year. Merry Christmas.

This is our Christmas morning. Zachery seriously was in our bed before 5:00, asking us if we could go open presents! We were able to hold him off until 8:00 (obviously, those weren't very great "sleep hours"!) Both boys were very excited with everything they got, especially their mp3 players. (if they tell you they got iPods, just go with it, but no, we didn't spend that much!)

Belle, loved her kitchen....mom can't wait to have some tea parties with her! And next year, I vow to get ready BEFORE presents, so I'm not so embarrassed with all my Christmas pictures. And obviously, Josh doesn't care...he has tissue wadded up his nose because he has a rotten cold!

Here's my crazy fandamily...crazy, but great. I wish I took more pictures....next year I guess.

So I think your pictures might even look better than ours! And I love the tissue look, does Josh?
So now I've been inspired again to post Christmas pictures, but do you think this time it will really happen? Hmmmmmmmm.
Love ya,

Wow Meg...your journaling is awesome. You really are a pro. The way you write is so much fun to read. Love the Christmas pics. Don't worry about the robe and the way you look...that is what your kids will always remember (that's a good thing). I think you are beautiful! Looking at Belle reminds me of what I have to look forward too with a little girl. Sorry Shanna...here's hoping. Love you Meg! I'll take you up on babysitting one of these days when I catch up on sleep (that will come right?). Tiff
