Pumpkin Fun

Don't you just love October? It is one of my favorite months....if I can try and forget that it's going to be winter soon! We have had so much fun this month. The kids have been spoiled with fun! This last weekend we went to Pack Farms to pick out pumpkins. The kids had so much fun running around the hay maze and deciding on their perfect pumpkin. Even Belle had a blast! After we each picked a pumpkin, we went on a horse ride, which was the icing on the cake for the kids. For me, it was nerve-racking, but I put a smile on for Brady's sake!

Then yesterday, some friends and our kids got together for the Barnyard Boo down at Thanksgiving Point. While braving the wind, we saw all the animals and did a few fun Halloween activities. The favorite, of course, was riding the ponies. Belle kept saying "ooooooh, oooooooh." She even rode all by herself! (while I walked next to her!) All in all, it was good to get out while it was still warm enough.
And because I was still "roaring" to go (ha ha), we carved pumpkins when we got home...
Zachery had fun playing in the pumpkin "guts" and Brady had fun watching.
By the end of the night, mom had just about exhausted all energy!
Almost.
